TYSON GRIFFIN FUNDRAISER FOR BOYS TOWN OF NEVADA

CHARITY IS CLOSE TO TYSON’S ROOTS

Impact Fight Charities

LAS VEGAS- Tyson Griffin wasn’t always a world class fighter.  He survived a tough childhood in environments that breed destructive lifestyles.  Griffin rose above and chose the path of an athlete all the way to the top of the mixed martial arts headlines instead of a negative direction and wants to inspire others to follow their path.

Consistently in the past, Griffin has volunteered and supported Boys Town of Nevada to bring awareness to troubled youth in the Las Vegas area. Tyson Griffin has created a fundraising opportunity via a raffle where first price will receive two event and after party tickets surrounding his next fight on November 2nd at Resurrection Fighting 4 against Efrain Escudero at the Texas Station in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“For sure sports played a big part in my life and in keeping me out of trouble,” said Tyson Griffin.  “Many times I had to decide do I hang out with the bad kids and do a bad thing that might get me in trouble or do I go home and stay out of trouble so I can compete in the game that week in high school so I definitely had to make good decisions to keep myself able to play sports; I had to keep good grades also to play sports.  I think sports are definitely a great motivator to keep kids in line and I actually did a lot of drawing and stuff growing up and art work was a big outlet too so it goes both ways.”

Tom Call, Griffin’s manager believes this the true face of mixed martial arts.  “Tyson has been volunteering at Boys Town of Nevada for a while now but we can finally show the world who the mixed martial artist really is.  This one, Tyson Griffin, has a huge heart both inside and outside of the cage.”

About Tyson Griffin

Tyson Griffin was born in the San Francisco Bay Area where he was the middle of 3 boys raised by a single mom. Although friends found themselves getting into trouble and heading down the wrong path Tyson managed to stay clear by playing sports after school and on the weekends. Tyson admits ‘The only reason I kept C’s in high school was so I could play sports the next season’ and this drive led him to the top of the mixed martial arts rankings.

Tyson Griffin continues to prove to be one of the best fighters in the world. He has positioned himself as a contender in one of the deepest, most talent-laden division in all of MMA. Griffin has accomplished a lot in the sport of MMA and at 28 years old the future is very bright.
